What does a designer do when she can’t find pieces she likes? Designs them.
I couldn’t find seating I wanted for the screened porch at my cottage,” says Sarah Richardson, the interior designer and host of Design Inc., the HGTV series. “The design was either too formal to be comfortable or too rustic to be indoors.”
