After Thursday nights official kick off at the 13th annual Interior Design Show and Fridays professional/trade day, we’re completely overwhelmed with all the creative energy we’re immersed in every year during the Toronto International Design Festival. This being our seventh year at IDS, we were thrilled our four latest outdoor furniture collections Strobe, Silhouette, Cityscape, and Cabo Lounge launched at the show were prodigiously received by many top designers, bloggers, journalists, and industry professionals on opening night and trade day.

Each year we strive to create the most innovative and luxurious designs for outdoor living to our existing collections and already we’ve made quite a splash with our booth design, incorporating a birch bark water wall as a backdrop to our latest collections. On Friday our teak and stainless Silhouette collection was named one of the top one hundred products at IDS 2011 by the editors at Designlines Magazine and while schmoozing at the opening night event, CBC’s Steven and Chris stopped by to chat and snap a photo with Andrew Bockner, and later returned to film their closing segment in our booth!

Today and tomorrow are public days at IDS, so if you haven’t already attended the event so far, you’ll have till Sunday at 6pm to check out what’s new at Andrew Richard Designs for 2011.
