2011 Hospitality Design Expo, Las Vegas

CONTEST | Outdoor Chair Design Competition

We’ve got some very exciting news for all you aspiring designers out there! We’ve teamed up with Canadian House & Home Magazine in search of the next great design talent who can come up with the most innovative outdoor lounge chair design!

The wining chair will be exhibited at the 2012 Interior Design Show, and the designer will be awarded a $1,500 cash prize, a pair of their lounge chairs, coordinating side table, and a three-month internship opportunity at Andrew Richard Designs!

Contest | 2011 National Home Show Ticket Giveaway

After showcasing some of our latest collections, new for the 2011 summer season at last months Interior Design Show, we’re excited to show a few more of our lines in a more consumable light at the National Home Show.

We’ve been exhibiting for 59 years at our Cana-Foam Products and Andrew Richard Designs booths and this year, you can find us at booth number 2749 for the full show which runs February 18th-27th.

Tickets are available online and at the door at the Direct Energy Centre, but because we’re feeling generous, we thought we’d help you out with a few free pairs!

IDS 2011 | Sibling Revelry Exhibition

What do you get when Canada’s most talented creative siblings get together to plan and design an exhibit space? Sibling Revelry of course!

As part of the Interior Design Show last weekend four pairs of siblings were invited to design a 600 square foot concept space for an overall exhibit spanning 2400 square feet entitled Sibling Revelry.

After Thursday nights official kick off at the 13th annual Interior Design Show and Fridays professional/trade day, we’re completely overwhelmed with all the creative energy we’re immersed in every year during the Toronto International Design Festival. This being our seventh year at IDS, we were thrilled our four latest outdoor furniture collections Strobe, Silhouette, Cityscape, and Cabo Lounge launched at the show were prodigiously received by many top designers, bloggers, journalists, and industry professionals on opening night and trade day.

Interior Design Show Past & Present | CONTEST

The Interior Design Show is the most anticipated trade show we partake in each year and with 2011’s exhibition fast approaching in the next few days, we’re building momentum by looking back at past years exhibiting at the show.

It will be our seventh year exhibiting and we’re thrilled to be introducing four brand new outdoor furniture collections designed right here in Toronto. 2011’s inspirations for both the collections and our booth design came from our principal, Andrew Bockner’s travels around the world; from his hometown Toronto, to the exotic locals of Bali, Thailand, Southern Europe, the South Pacific and back again to his favourite retreat in Muskoka.
